We are Allison & Kenny McMahon. Our name, ‘Arabilis,’ meaning arable or farmable land, embodies our close partnership with farmers and our aspiration to own a vineyard someday. Kenny and I, a husband-wife team, bonded over our shared passion for wine while studying wine in graduate school. Today, we proudly offer chardonnay and pinot noir wines. Our current releases include Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from 2018 to 2022. Our wines have received acclaim from wine enthusiasts and critics alike for their balance, complexity, and versatility (Wine Spectator, International Wine Report, Paul G). We also make a lot of traditional method sparkling wines which will be available in this year (check out Kenny’s recent interview with SommTV).

They are mirror images of one another in terms of varietal make up, with fruit sourced from two different mountain ranges (the Coast Range and the Cascades). The incredible farmers that we partner with share similar regenerative, sustainable visions. Having a close relationship with our growers is vital to our journey, as they are the starting point for the level of quality. We selected vineyards across the Eola-Amity Hills, McMinnville, Van Duzer, and Columbia Gorge AVAs for their unique soil compositions, climate characteristics, and sustainable practices which include biodynamic, organic management, no-till farming, and Salmon-Safe certification.
